MOSAIC - A campus ministry at University of Alaska Southeast

The University of Alaska Southeast MOSAIC Ministries is a thriving ministry.  The people involved and the activities have varied over the years but one thing remains constant: God still moves in the hearts of students.

LEMON CREEK CORRECTIONAL CENTER MINISTRY

The ministry at Lemon Creek Correctional Center(LCCC) continues to be led by Chaplain Chris Nelson. Chaplain Nelson is blessed to oversee an active set of 12-15 volunteers.

Chapel Bible studies are conducted by volunteers every week day or evening, except for Friday night.  Church services are held on both Saturday and Sunday, led by church groups and the Chaplain. The attendance at these weekly events averages around 50 per week. Residents and staff alike have commented that the outpouring of love by the volunteers involved is very much appreciated.
