Tongass Baptist Association is Southern Baptist Churches in Southeast Alaska cooperating together to strengthen and encourage each other to accomplish the mission of Christ.

 

"Southeast Alaska is a world of massive glaciers, fjords, and snowcapped peaks.  Thousands of islands are blanketed with lush stands of spruce, hemlock, and cedar.  Bays, coves, lakes of all sizes, and swift, icy rivers provide some of the continent's best fishing grounds."* 

 

Planted in the midst of this beauty are God's people sharing the message of Christ to friends and neighbors as their local church demonstrates the gospel message in word and deed.  You can be a part of the mission effort as you pray for these Southern Baptists who live in southeast Alaska.
